LUMINARIUM.
From the latin word for light or lamp- LUMINARIUM refers to the object that generates and brings light in a space. The sculptural manifestation of the sound wave LUMINARIUM leads to a contemplation that all masses are made of molecules that have both frequency and vibration. The frequency of the light wave and its interaction with another mass is what makes any object visible at all.
LUMINARIUM is not static, but appears to be in motion, moving in a direction in time, away from the unseen central axis from where it was created and has now left behind. This constitutes time and space and is a symbol that reflects the nature of all forms we perceive.
